Dani and Miriam Domingo’s were just purchased their Black Diamond ski-touring equipment, and we had to find an appropriate destination to “celebrate” that event ;))

The area in southern mountains in Armenia between Lake Sevan and Yeghegnadzor town was the best to open the season and try the BD skis! That area I have seen on March 2012, when heli-skiing on the mountains around, and had it in my mind since then. In fact we found out a cool ski-touring destination, amazing terrain with good snow and a cute village Hermon between the mountains which makes the approach very short and provides good accommodation at the tourism center “Lucy Hotel Resort”.

P.S. The name "Fox Mountains" came to as by seeing traces of foxes everywhere on the slopes and summit. So no doubt then that these mountains belong to Foxes!
